Hello DominoSecurity readers,

As you may recall, I sent out a link to a web site that checks whether your server is an open email relay. That link did not work. Reader Claus nicely sent the following mail, with a link that DOES work.

Regarding the spam and relay issue, you should try the relay checker at www.ordb.org. I've used it several times with a good result. You can submit a server to be tested on their next batch run, but you have to confirm the relay check by email. If the server is vulnerable it is placed on a list of relay servers (which is not a good list to join), but the server is removed once it passes a new test.
